In
Spite of My Eyes is an inspiring story of a man named Paul Funnell, born
with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), a degenerative disorder of the retina
which has rendered him legally blind. From an early age he had an
unshakable desire to live a normal life and become a successful
businessman. His life, however, has been a continual struggle, with the
need to come to terms with his situation and develop strategies to
compensate for his disability. Despite the obvious challenges, Paul always believed his ability to succeed in life was without limitations and that he could achieve anything if he wanted it enough. During his teenage years, he chose to be the architect of his life and overcame adversity to realise his dreams and achieve his goals. Paul takes us on a journey that will cause the reader to run the gamut of emotions from laughter to tears.
